The School of Embodied Yoga therapy

  • Is a professional 800-hour yoga therapist accredited training program that features engaging coursework, therapeutic practice, and experiential learning combined with practical clinical instruction.

  • Honours yoga therapy as an intelligent, comprehensive, and compassionate response to the breadth and depth of life happenings and human suffering.

  • Presents experience teachers and yoga therapists, many with health care backgrounds, in an engaged and cooperative learning environment.

  • Sees restoring embodiment, self and community care, through yoga therapy as a brave, integrated human-making response to life’s undulations – particularly when living in a frequently disembodied and fast-paced culture.

  • Respects the wisdom of the body – and all its layers (kośas), as the foundation of knowledge and change - as well as each human’s need for grounding, growth and connection with others and the natural world.
